Screw Aruba, We're going to Hawaii!

I think it's old news now, but in case some of you are out of the loop--we sort of ended up in Hawaii instead of Aruba for the honeymoon. We were supposed to leave Sunday night for Aruba and the hurricane warnings had all been lifted so we thought we were fine. Around 4 or so, we decided we should probably call the hotel to double check. They told us that it was totally fine to come--except that all the beaches were closed and the streets were flooded. Not exactly our idea of a sweet honeymoon. So somehow it worked out perfectly that we were able to cancel everything in Aruba and book a flight to Hawaii. We stayed on Hawaii (The Big Island) at the Marriott Resort at Waikalua. It was AMAZING. The best part was that Patrick had never been before.

We don't know what we missed in Aruba, but we definitely didn't miss out on much!
